Jadwin Loop VillageThe first phase of Jadwin Loop Village opened in June 2008 and consists of six fully rehabilitated three-bedroom historic homes. These wood-framed Craftsman Style homes were originally constructed at the end of World War I, and make up some of the first single-family homes to be built at Fort Belvoir. At 2,095 square feet, these six single-story homes feature brand new HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, wood and ceramic tile flooring, double vanity sinks in the master bedroom, a fireplace, a screened porch and a deck- all surrounded by a beautifully landscaped yard.
The second phase of Jadwin Loop Village opened in May 2009 and consists of 25 fully rehabilitated three-bedroom historic homes and 30 new four-bedroom homes, all designed in the Colonial Revival style. The historic three-bedroom homes range from between 1, 900 and 2, 200 square feet of living space and feature brand new HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, wood and ceramic tile flooring, a private deck, a two-car garage and large interior storage space. The new four-bedroom homes range from between 1,800 and 2,000 square feet of living space and feature Energy Star appliances, neutral wall-to-wall carpet, double vanity sinks in the master bedroom, a private deck and a two-car garage. The Village also offers residents two playgrounds, a full-sized basketball court and vast open space, providing fun and convenient activities for the whole family.
